When necessary HASLC will permit transfers within and between housing authorities to comply with occupancy standards, special needs, or in compliance with the Violence Against Women Act. The tenant is responsible for all moving costs associated with the transfer.

Priority II | Unit Overcrowding |
Priority III | Unmarried persons of the opposite sex in same bedroom |
Priority IV | Families eligible for a larger or smaller unit but not a priority |
Within each priority, transfers will be made according the date the household first became eligible for the transfer.
The Executive Director reserves the right to suspend all transfers related to under and over utilization should HASLC experience high vacancy rates.
